The Mold Odor Print Kit includes one Odor Print from each of the five DSMZ-authenticated mold species Precision Explosives offers - all five real MVOC odor sources, all five ready to train on the day they arrive. 

What's in the Kit

Five Precision Explosives Mold Odor Prints, one per species, each sealed in its own metallized Mylar envelope:

- Stachybotrys chartarum (DSM 12880) The priority species for water damage litigation and insurance inspection work. Grows on wet cellulose - drywall paper, ceiling tiles, structural wood - and produces anisole as its primary MVOC marker within seven days of active growth on building substrates.

- Aspergillus fumigatus (DSM 819) A top target for HVAC assessment, indoor air quality surveys, and facilities management programs. Ubiquitous in damp building materials and air handling systems.

- Penicillium chrysogenum (DSM 23825) One of the most frequently recovered molds from water-damaged buildings. Grows readily on damp wallboard, wallpaper, insulation, and carpet backing. Commonly a co-contaminant in multi-species cases!

- Cladosporium sphaerospermum (DSM 104846) Among the most prevalent indoor mold species. Found in condensation zones, bathroom grout, window frames, and cooling coils. Relevant beyond typical water-damage scenarios given how commonly it appears in lower-humidity microenvironments.

- Alternaria alternata (DSM 1102) A common early-indicator mold in beginning water intrusion events. Frequently found around damp sinks, showers, and window seals - and one of the first species to establish when moisture problems start.

POCR Technology

Each print is produced using POCR material infused with authenticated DSMZ culture. POCR (Polymer Odor Capture and Release) delivers consistent MVOC output across every session for up to one year.

Storage and Service Life

Store each print in its original Mylar envelope between sessions. Expect approximately one year of service life per print. If a print gets dirty during training, rinse with water and air dry - the POCR medium is stable and cleaning does not affect odor output.
