The Mini Narcotics Odor Print is the same real-odor POCR training aid as the Regular - built from the same lab-certified, certified-pure target material, the same contamination-controlled production process, the same Mylar envelope storage - in a 2.8-inch form factor with a 10g target equivalent. The odor picture is identical. The concentration output is lower. That's the point!

Why the Mini Has Its Own Job

A detection dog trained exclusively at high concentration learns to find a strong source. That dog may miss a trace-level find, a well-ventilated vehicle, or anything more than a few feet from the source. Varying concentration across your training rotation is how you close that gap - and the Mini is the tool that does it.

Real Odor vs. Pseudo-Narcotics

Detection dogs respond to the volatile organic compound profile of a target substance - the specific chemicals a drug releases into the air. Pseudo-narcotics are formulated to approximate some of those compounds, but the odor picture is an approximation. POCR technology captures actual target odor from the same certified-pure material listed on your training records. The difference matters when you're building a reliable odor picture from the start of imprinting.

How Mini Odor Prints Are Made

Each Mini Narcotics Odor Print is produced using Getxent® POCR material infused with laboratory-grade target substance. The odor-bearing medium is sealed between aluminum discs - no adhesives - with gloved-hand assembly in a controlled, single-odor environment to reduce cross-contamination and human odor transfer. Finished prints are stored in metallized Mylar resealable envelopes that minimize headspace volume and prevent permeation through the packaging wall.

Every order includes a QR code on the package linking directly to the Certificate of Analysis for your target odor. Scan it, download it, add it to your training records.

Storage and Service Life

Store in the original Mylar envelope between sessions. Service life is approximately one year with standard training use. If the print picks up surface contamination during training, rinse with water and air dry - cleaning does not degrade the POCR medium or the odor output.
