Each Getxent® Tube is loaded with certified-pure target narcotics odor using the same POCR process behind every Precision Explosives training aid. The source material is the same lab-certified target substance listed on your training records. The POCR medium captures that odor during infusion and releases it slowly and consistently for up to one year. No live narcotics, no DEA license required.

Tube vs. Odor Print - Which Format for Which Job?

The Narcotics Odor Print (4-inch bone format) is the high-concentration source: 20g equivalent for the Regular, 10g for the Mini. It's the foundation imprinting tool and the strong-source training aid. The Getxent® Tube is a different format for a different problem: 8×35 mm, 2g equivalent, designed to fit where an Odor Print won't - tube hides, vehicle panels, wall cavities, TADD®-based delivery systems. Problems where you want a small, concealable source at the lowest concentration tier. Both products carry real odor from the same certified source material and the odor picture is the same!

Why the 2g Tier Matters

A dog trained exclusively at high concentration learns to locate a strong source. In the field, that dog may miss a trace-level find, a well-ventilated vehicle, or a source that's more than a few feet away. The Tube at 2g equivalent is the lowest concentration in the training system - the format that develops a dog's ability to work a scent cone at distance and follow it to source rather than simply alerting when they're close enough to a strong hide.

In the Canine Imprint Kit, the Getxent Tube is what loads the TADD® as the trace-level threshold component of the three-source system (Regular print at 20g → Mini at 10g → Tube via TADD® at 2g). Storage and Service Life

Store in the original Mylar bag between sessions. The Getxent® medium is stable - if the tube picks up surface contamination during training, wipe clean with a damp cloth.
